Located in Kansas City’s historic Westport neighborhood, Laney’s Get Down is a Southern-inspired restaurant and bar that embodies the fusion of Southern fried chicken with Midwestern hospitality. The venue offers a vibrant atmosphere with live music on weekends, a spacious outdoor patio, and a menu featuring farm-fresh, hand-breaded, locally sourced chicken accompanied by made-from-scratch biscuits and a variety of sides. The construction project involved transforming the previously empty space into a welcoming and lively dining environment. Key elements of the renovation included renovations to existing kitchen and bar, creating communal tables tailored for large groups, incorporating playful and vibrant colors to enhance the laid-back ambiance, and upgrading the stage and sound systems to accommodate live music performances. The design encourages guests to gather and enjoy both the culinary offerings and the entertainment. ARCHITECT Clockwork Architecture and Design 6,421 sf tenant finish
